Hungarian International "has set his heart on a move to Southend"

Sounds rather strange if he does prefer us over Watford ??

Maybe its because Southend is closer to home, ie Hungary.

Sounds promising, but there are promising rumours like this cropping up in every close season and more often than not they come to naught...

Denes Rosa (from his own Wikipedia page)

Dénes Rósa (b. April 7, 1977 in Budapest) is a Hungarian international midfielder who currently plays for Wolverhampton Wanderers and the Hungarian national team.
He agreed to a three-year deal to join Wolves on a permanent basis in May 2006, having been on a short-term deal at the club since January 2006. Rósa made ten appearances for Wolves in 2005-06, scoring two goals. He has previously played for Ferencvaros.
On November 10, 2006 Wolves manager Mick McCarthy admitted that Rosa, and fellow midfielder Guilherme Finkler may struggle to figure in the current formation.[1] On 9th March 2007, it was announced that Dénes had signed a loan deal with Cheltenham Town. He returned at the end of the season but was put on the transfer list.

i don't know what to believe anymore. theres so many rumours flying around.

but this rosa guy would surely be a good signing. hopefully its true

The only place I heard about our supposed interest in Rosa was from that Watford website. So, how do they know about it but it gets no mention ANYWHERE else? And now they make the assumption that he MUST have his heart set on joining Southend??!

I'll believe it when we sign him. Before then, I'm very dubious.

I wish more players would mistake Southend for Southampton... Gareth Bale or Matt Le Tissier for example!

Watford's fine. I was there for six years and found it a very pleasant place to live.

Going back on topic, Rosa sounds like a great player to me but I can't help thinking this is all probably rubbish. The Watford website this was reported on looks highly dubious, and the fact this rumour has not appeared anywhere else in the media suggests we may be speculating about nothing. I hope I'm wrong, however.

Very probably, but I saw it online and thought it worthy of discussion. Can't say I know much about this fella but we're crying out for an attacking midfielder and have been since Bentley left.
