Can't believe this. I should be murdering this team even on PIC and yet after I've spurned about twelve hundred (~4) good chances, they go and equalise againsst my reserve keeper. I'd better win this else I won't be a happy bunny. Believe it or not.

2-0 up against a team with an amazing midfield, god bless counter attacks! The Toilet continues his good start to the season. 50,000 in the ground as well, better think about an expansion, haven't done one for about 5 seasons as did it all before the prices quadrupled!!

I've come back with five lucky goals.

No problem now.

I'm so proud to record my highest loss in 2 league games, 7-1 away.

However I was playing a new formation and I was never realistically going to win.

Haha, quality. That's probably part of my problems. I was playing 4-4-2 by accident with a midfielder at right back with my left back towards middle. Am I Capello in disguise?

Can't complain too much except for the attendance a disappointingly low 16600.

Hang in there Fred. First season is really tough. Remember that as long as your training regime gets going then it won't be a waste of tiem by any means.

Just the five eh? A lucky scrape home....

Finished 2-0, 9 points in the bag. Bizarrely the promoted team we thrashed last week is in second on 6. Looks like promotion is definitely on this season, 225 hatstats is yet again a new record (on a PIC!). TS is now POE so pretty confident for the cup on Tuesday.

All is well....

Yeah i will hang in there, it doesnt take much maintenence really!

Not now that I've got all my trainees.

All i need to do is change the team before friendlies and league games.

Drew 1-1 on MOTS with my only competitor leaves me still top.

TS down to furious though.... Still I can PIC every game now until the return fixture.

A 3-1 win and dropped down to second on goal difference. 34,300 in the ground and no injuries. Not worried about dropping to second. I play the team in 1st in 2 weeks time and I'm pretty confident I can beat him. A record 43 stars, and with a few players low on form I know I can improve on that as well.

It will be because I finished in 2nd place

I need to get through next weeks games with no injuries to defenders. My main contender is no pushover but my record against him is very good. I'm keeping a keen eye on his squad selection, tactics and transfer dealings.

Oh, come on. Your midfielders are about 4 levels ahead of mine and virtually everyone else in Level VI! You'll win the games against your rivals on possession alone (and if by some ridiculous anomaly he has a better midfield than you, just CA him! You have the defenders!).

No excuses now......

But you have to remember I'm playing 5-4-1 against 3-5-2 - He has passable (v high) vs me poor (v high) midfield. I've never played CA so I have no match experience and I can't experiment now, nor do I wish to try out three IMs in midfield. So it's going to be a 5-4-1 press which I still think will be good enough.

And he's just sold a couple of players for £1m.

Hold that thought though. He's just pm'd me back confirming he expected much more and he needs the money to buy two trainees
