I think TS management and chosing which games to PIC is very important. I personally don't bother using MOTS, except for my final game of the season. The penalty for MOTS is pretty harsh and I think the rewards for maintaining a high TS through the season outweigh the reward of MOTS for a single game.
The most important thing IMHO for div IV is controlling your finances. Establishing yourself in div IV is pretty expensive, as the wages you need to compete are difficult to maintain when you are losing and only getting crowds of 30,000 because its raining every bloody week. The Anglicisation of your squad is therefore imperative, as it saves 20% of your biggest expense.
