Don't want to know about your bedroom habits Toddy.....

These deflationary issues are really hitting hard. Tried to sell a couple of players to fund my keeper purchase:

Jesper Søltoft
TSI = 4 980 , 23 years, inadequate form
Has wretched experience and poor leadership abilities [Technical]

Stamina: excellent Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: outstanding Passing: weak
Winger: poor Defending: weak
Scoring: weak Set pieces: world class

Bought for £733k
Listed for £600k - no bids

Daniel Schoof
TSI = 4 870 , 20 years, inadequate form
Has wretched experience and disastrous leadership abilities [Quick]

Stamina: inadequate Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: wretched Passing: passable
Winger: weak Defending: inadequate
Scoring: outstanding Set pieces: poor

Bought for £861k
Listed for £700k - no bids

I'm going to have to take quite a hit if I want a supernatural keeper. As it stands my team for next season looks thus:

rock.gif
?
WC MG WC WC
OS BR OS MG
WC OS

Big hole to fill at keeper and then need to upgrade a forward. Wingers will be trained to titanic and world class respectively then we'll probably change to PM. The wingers both have decent PM so will be nice to multiskill them. Also, all my midfield and attack having inadequate or better passing.

The team who won my league auto promoted the team who dropped look about the same as me so I hopefully can win the league this season with this team.

                             Outstanding

       Formidable        Outstanding    Formidable

Excellent    Outstanding      Brilliant  Magnificent Outstanding
              Outstanding      Outstanding

Once I have the money I will also upgrade the Excellent winger to Outstanding

Team who have come down to my league are RUBBISH so I should stroll my league. Not that I'm ready to go up.....

I think the Transfer market is flagging as alot of people are losing interest. i'd love to see the log on stats and how may people are still playing the game.

I've become really bored with it lately and know it will be another season or two b4 I'm ready for the next league an it just doesn't seem worth the investment in time. I wonder if a lot of people have got promoted only to be battered in the league above and have then given up leaving a bit of a vacuum in the transfer market?

Just noticed,

Rian Winkelman
TSI = 32 500 , 20 years, inadequate form
Has poor experience and solid leadership abilities [Powerful]

Stamina: excellent Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: supernatural Passing: poor
Winger: poor Defending: inadequate
Scoring: poor Set pieces: weak

Shame players just aren't selling for decent prices just now.

Not true, HT continues to grow. The slump is due to numbers playing, more players = more trainees = transfer market saturation. It's all about supply and demand and it will settle down eventually.

At the end of the day it's all relative. You may not get as much for your sales but as a result you can pick up new recruits just as cheaply in your non training positions (just picked up a magificent striker for half the price I paid for a world class one two seasons ago).

Looking at your team, unless you're unlucky and end up in a Level V like mine you should survive ok. You should be pushing 150 hatstats soon. It gets more involved once your in V, you have to think about your games and be flexible with your tactics. Stick with it, it's rewarding eventually (though of course it's not a patch on BT!!).
