How good can we be in league 2

To early to really say how we will do after a dozen or so games we will have a better idea.We have got rid of the deadwood, players signed on who want to play for us and a new management team who have a lot to prove and obviously up for the challenge.I for one will hope to renew my ST and get behind my home team along with loads of others.Onward and upward.(we can dream can't we)

I must have missed the news about Leyton being moved from the London Borough of Waltham Forest to the county of Essex.........
Ah, but it was part of Essex for a lot, lot longer than it has been part of a London borough, and that for many of us old fogies is all that matters.

Just as I was born in Barking in Essex because that's were it was in those golden, olden days.

It will be interesting folks, how will players perform in near empty stadiums it could mean some players struggle for top form. We have lost 4 very good league 2 players ( 5 if you include Theo) but we still have some excellent players for that level. We are struggling for strikers at present so that's where we need to be signing or loaning, but of course they don't come cheap. I think neither of our teams will go down, but both may have to settle for around mid table.

I’ll take mid table right now. I actually think our younger less experienced players might benefit from playing in a near empty stadium as they won’t have the pressure of an expectant crowd. Might help build their confidence a bit.

It's definitely going to be a strange season, there are going to be a lot of out of contract players available to sign after the transfer window closes which takes some of the urgency out of it, I'm surprised Theo hasn't been picked up by anyone yet his record in L2 is decent.

like you I doubt either side will go down as there are worse teams in the league, mind you I do have a feeling that there are going to be some very strange results.

On paper, I think we're lower mid-table as things stand. But like every lower league club we need a management team who can take a group of players and make them punch above their weight. See Wycombe. We won't know until 10 games in whether we've got that.

Well last time we were in league two I backed us to go up and it worked, so I’ve done it again this season, £5 at 28-1 you never no:Worthy:
