Well that you could argue about anything, all we know is that we couldnt pay it and no-one lent it to us on time!
My guess is it came from a payday loan company or The Tooth Fairy!

Plenty of other clubs are announcing signings. Although technically players sign from 1st July, clubs are permitted to do business and announce signings in June. Well, some are !

Perhaps they just want to keep Ron in his place and under pressure. If I were forced to do business with him, I'd want all the cards loaded in my favour.

I've not seen anything anywhere to state we are actually in an embargo. Is this just what you think or have there been facts published to say we are in an embargo that I have missed.

CP confirmed it on ****ter a few days ago.

Short of the club or FL coming out and saying it, then you will have to make your own mind up on the "rumours"

FWIW I have been told we are under embargo for several reasons, ranging from late filing of accounts to unpaid football related debts.

It would be nice for it to come from a legitimate source. Not that I don't trust CP, but until it's formally published, you can never to totally sure.

The Football League will never confirm an umbongo is in force so the only other party, the club, can confirm it and that is most unlikely.

Fgs no disrespect here Phil, It it will never be published...what is it about people wanting things set in stone before they believe anything. The FL will not state a club belonging to their affiliate are not paying bills or indeed owe them money. I do not understand this wanting proof bollocks all the time...it is impossible..I state again IMPOSSIBLE to fulfil all the criteria people seem to want to justify things that cannot be proved in writing but are from reliable sources...

It is up to you whether you believe them of not , but always picking on the messenger seems a tad futile to me.

Chillax Grandad, I was only asking as I hadn't seen anything. Seems odd we can get assistant managers and scouts in but not players.

At this time I guess they are only promises made..I haven't seem them yet actually come in...It would indeed be odd as apparently the players are still awaiting last months wages.

I would say RM is keeping The sun tanned one sweet atm and feeding him the normal..all will be sorted bollocks he feeds most people.

It does get a little tiresome, I have to say. I know people are sceptical of "sources" and what not, and I understand the suspicion because of some of the tripe that has been said by people "ITK" before. But when we have the local reporter saying we're under one, in addition to several people who we know are in regular dialogue with people from within the football club, there comes a time when individuals have to stop being so suspicious. It smacks of "playing ostrich". Bury your head in the sand and pretend it's not happening. The lack of incoming transfer activity on it's own should be ringing alarm bells. ..

And the fact that backroom staff don't have to be "registered" like players do and therefore might not be subject to an embargo?

My my some folk on hear are getting a little touchy regarding these so called Embargos . Do we really want to keep hearing bad news .I for one get a little p***ed off with it .I know the club have problems unlees you are deaf dumb and blind then its common knowledge the club are potless . But despite all the talk ive heard about the club will be thrown out of the league I thihk the moneys will be sorted not by Ron but if its by sainsburys I couldn't give a t*ss as long as sufc are still hear at the kick off time in the new season .
