Long time no speak!

I'm as disturbed as all of you on here that the club is in the situation that it is.

Several years ago i spoke to Ron Martin and told him that if the club needed to use me in ANY way,i would make myself available for the sole benefit of the club,in whatever capacity they see fit.

Unfortunately the call never came but the offer still stands.

I am gutted that the club which gave me the biggest push early in my career has this hanging over it but i'm sure that the club will come out of it stronger and have a plan moving forward.

If Southend United need me,i am here.

Stan - thanks for taking the time to log back on.

The biggest thing you can do (short of pulling a few million out of you arse) is to use your status in the football community to get this into the public domain, to tell your story of how your own career blossomed at "little old Southend" and let people know there is more than the Premier League and that we are one of many clubs who need their local community to get out and support their local team and make sure that 100+ years of history isnt lost because of the ease of watching premier league football from their sofa.....

That in my mind would be a great start.....
