I think the fact people have made out Sturrock had to no work for his goal when he did shows Sturrock's never going to be welcome round here, he could score a hat trick next game and people would claim they were all tap ins

shame the angle of the camera doesn't really do justice for the freekick. Looked like Sturrock slipped or stumbled a bit for his goal, but they all count!

Perhaps people were being a little harsh on Morris, because in fairness Corr was in his way and would've made it very difficult to keep the ball out with the pace at which it was travelling.

Timlin's free kick was technically outstanding and I can't remember a striker of ours scoring a better header than Corr's for sometime. It was a fantastic piece of movement and a top drawer finish that any Premiership striker would've been proud of.

he started the move too, by pressuring the defender and the ball falling to Sturrock. The run and movement to find the gap between the defenders was excellent. It's been a while since we had a "target man" who could link up play and then a few seconds later be in the right place on the edge of the 6 yard box. Superb

That's how I see it... It's a clever free kick and it looks like Morris collides with Corr as he's going to save it. Still, he either wants someone on the posts or he doesn't.

Ah, so their goal was a free-kick.

I thought it was, because of where it was taken from, but I have no idea what it was given for.

Our equaliser is just fantastic football from the moment Corr holds the ball up to Sturrock's intelligent run into space and brilliant cross and a good header from Corr to finish it off. Great to see our two forwards link up like that for both their goals - when was the last time our strikers both scored and set up the other?

I thought we touched the ball for the free-kick, but they were encroaching so it should have been retaken anyway.

Yep one of the best team goals Ive seen from us for a while- Simpson, Sturrock and of course Corr all involved. Great cross and great run and header from Corr although pretty poor defending it must be said. Hopefully we can see some more of that link up play as we certainly have the players and the passers to cut teams open like that.

1 goal, 1 assist for Sturrock in that game. Well done Blair, gets to much stick especially at such an early stage, think he is most of the time playing and working really well.

According to the commentary it was for a totally pointless foul, (as the Hereford player was going nowhere) committed by Grant.

The ball was touched but didn't move so I don't think it is in play - doesn't the ball have to move 1 revolution or something to be in play?

As Mick has already pointed out, that rule was done away with a while back. If anything, the freekick was hauled back because of encroachment.
