One thing that does worry me about Luggy is that he seems to think the way to defend a lead is by having as many defenders as possible on the pitch. Surely the best way to protect a lead is keep the ball in their half.

I dont think its a shocking tactic when you want to score less to bring on defensive players.

Its not often you hear of a manager wanting to defend a lead and sticking an extra striker on....

I'm guessing he means bringing on another midfielder to try and play keep ball rather than taking off a winger and putting on a full back.

Having said that I think Hills used to play left mid for Palace, so not too bothered with this sub personally.
 
It's this sort of sloppiness which could cost us automatic promotion. Sick and bloody tired of us not closing games out. That said a vital 3 points in the bag.

We won away from home, we scored 3 goals, most of our rivals lost.
