Jon, can you please advise why exactly supporting the End Polio Now Campaign is embarrassing for the Trust. Based on your assumption it must also be embarrassing for SUFC also.

You know it's surprising how little your approval matters to me in anything on the Zone these days, in fact, I'd go as far as to say your disapproval is all to readily expected with anything at all I'm concerned in or connected with, the kids were beside themselves with excitement, that's good enough for me.

Funny that you yet again try to make it a personal attack when it isn't. I think Mordin was spot on.

Shrimperstrust - I think it's embarassing to fundraise when you can't clearly explain what's happening with the money. Saying 'it's going to the rotary/bill gates' isn't good enough in my opinion. I'd say Kay is right that it's a publicity exercise. Also the timing stinks (probably out of the trusts control however) and members are yet to get an explaination about why the trust went from RM-skeptics to RMs interest free bank in a matter of weeks (see the Ron blog thread). I personally think that the trust should explain why they've given RM £60k of members and supporters money for players, when I thought the trust was exactly that, a TRUST, there to help the club if it was on the brink and potentially to take over as an owner. It seems the aims and objectives of the Shrimperstrust have changed.
