Hattrick

Birri

Manager
how did we all do chaps ?

Rochford Stuffed the bottom side 7-0 away with a debut Hattrick for my new record signing Carlos Alvarez Cabanilla from MTS's Side. I stay top and am now 3 points clear as 3rd place beat 2nd.

Another fecking draw for me 0-0 against the top team in the league. I drop from 2nd to 4th and promotion looks out of my grasp.

Signing a good striker today may help my scoring woes.

Delighted for you, mate - glad he got such a good start.

I won 4-0 away to the team in 4th, consolidating my grip on 3rd place... totally chuffed. Got a "solid" rating for the first time ever as well (for my attackers) - delighted about that!

1-0 away win over 4th place for Shrimperzone FC means we're likely to finish 3rd. We travel to the top team next week who've racked up 60 goals so far, don't think I'll be expecting much there!

Lost 6-0, at home, now back to 7th place. b******s.

My 17 year old youth pull defender has just gone up to Solid defending though, after a bit of training. Excellent.

I still have the div top scorer with 15 4th with 10 and if carlos can continue that form he could take top spot himself

Incidentally, if anyone is looking for an experienced midfielder and potential future coach, here's your man...

Tom Widererberg (playerid=7302086)
TSI = 740 , 30 years, solid form
Has passable experience and poor leadership abilities

Stamina: excellent Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: solid Passing: weak
Winger: disastrous Defending: poor
Scoring: poor Set Pieces: excellent

He's a 3-3.5* midfielder, and a reluctant sale... only selling because, ultimately, I need to free up spaces in the squad for young midfielders or defenders next season (haven't decided what I'm training yet).

On sale now for £75,000.

A 6-1 win at home to the team who are now in 6th place, putting me 3 points above the team in 3rd place. I am still 2nd in the division 6 points away from the leaders.

And Matt, a bid has been placed.

Sorry mate - you were outbid (and only by someone who paid £76,670, to your original £75K bid). I would have reminded you, but I forgot he was up for sale today, I thought he was up tomorrow...

Thanks mate!  Should be a top buy for you... his set piece ability is also a winner in the goals column!

smile.gif

Ah, the books are looking very healthy now... should be topping £400K or more by this weekend...

biggrin.gif
Andy S got a nice bit of cash too he had a young passable forward who I got in a bidding war (even though I had no wish to buy him) to bump his dosh up. He also had a 21 yr old exellent forward who started @ 10k (I would have loved him!) I had to drop out as my finances wouldnt allow me to bid more than 94k while having a 50k bid in for Carlos. I like to bid on fellow sz players that i see up for sale just to help bump up the price. Never know I may get a player that you guys may find worthy of your reserves one day.

I won 0-3 against the bottom side. Hockley Woods are now looking a very decent Counter Attacking team, ready to take on the ironstead grip of the evil 3-5-2 lots!

Or my first team, mate... That's the beauty of Youth Pulls - you may just unearth a gem!

Not at the moment I wont mate have stopped investing till I am back in the black on a perminant basis. Then I will be putting in full whack to get the yoof squad up to scratch. This was my last pull who is up for nowt and will probably be fired.

Julian O'Dea (39517513)

18 years, passable form, healthy

Stamina: passable Goaltending: disastrous
Playmaking: poor Passing: poor
Winger: poor Defending: wretched
Scoring: disastrous Set Pieces: poor

9 defeats on the trot, i may have taken the jump to series V a bit to soon, although i dont think i have a half bad side. One of my midfielders just turned Formidable.

I need a new striker as i sold 3 of them last week, but i think its inevatable i will be releagted and will have to regroup.

Erm, yes... I can see him tending a golf course very soon, with "his days of glory clearly over"...

FC Gambero stay top, after 1-4 away win to the team I replaced as 1st 4 weeks ago.

Take the lead after 7 mins, Small FC then drew level 5 mins later as this is the way the score stayed until 78th minute when FC Gambero bundled the ball home from a corner. 83rd minute chipped the keeper and then in the 86th minute scored after error between Small's goalie and central defenders.

Also made it through to the FLSA Cup knockout stages after going through the group stage unbeaten. FLSA Cup site

So the world is good at the moment down at Fossetts Farm.

Congrats bob, You do have the strongest side out of all the SZ Hattrickers. I am getting the wooden spoon in the BDF cup league stage as I am up against 3 yank div III sides but atleast I am making a nice bit of extra dosh out of it even with the 4K travel costs.

Cheers Birri not sure if I have the strongest team as i have yet to beat MtS' SUFC or GNH's GNH Utd. Played them a couple of times when I was VI side and lost every match.

I always got the impression that your team was the strongest then MTS and GNH from the leagues your were in and the results your were getting. I walked my league last year but this time round the 2nd and 3rd teams are a lot stronger.
