The family who lived next door but one to us when I was a lad were called Kyprianou. Their Dad worked at the Popular Restaurant in Leigh - wouldn't be surprised if this lad was related to them.

I think he's related to Theo Paphitis of Dragons Den fame. Saw him tweet him.

Perhaps Ron is lining up an investment. "Hi I'm Ron and I'm looking for a £10million investment into Fossetts Farm for a 0.001% stake in the business". :whistling:

or more like..

Hi I'm Ron and I'm looking for a £20million investment into Fossetts Farm in return for a 0.001% chance of a free steak in the business club lounge".

Watford have a had a serious amount of very good young talent in the last 3-4 years, way too many players to see the wood for the trees, numerous managerial changes, wouldn't be surprised to see a few they have released go on to have decent careers.

Good luck to the lad. Nice to see the club investing in youth

This......

It just shows that youth is our future and with talk of these lads doing well, the future looks bright. The under 16 and 18 seem to be flying at the moment.

I certainly have faith in our set up which we've never had before.

Just a quick question, does anyone know what the situation is regarding filling GC old position?

He is described as a winger but when at Watford he was clearly described as a defender. We need cover at left back and maybe its felt via the U21s he could provide that later in the season as well- in which case a very sensible signing

Didn't we have a highly-regarded young left-back that Phil Brown said was ready to step into first team football?
