I agree with you.... i think Tilly should of kept hold of them players...

Gutts was great at league one, but his form did dip at the end of that season, and he was awful when we were in the Championship. McCormack is twice the player he is and Bailey probably better too. Why should we want Gutts ?

If you think we should have kept Gutts then Bentley would have been a reserve player which is exactly why he left. With hindsight with the poor performance by gutts we could have used Bentley however we ended up with McCormack and Bailey and thats a better position to be in.

Jupp was decent enough player, always gave his all but Id rather have Francis.

Guttridge was an excellent player for us during the League 1 winning side. Along with Bentley and Juppy but unfortunately werent really given the chance to prove it at Championship level.

Bentley didnt play much at League one level either.

disagree where you say mccormack is twice the player.... he is definitely more determined a better finisher and gives everything, but gutts definitely had the better passing ability and could probably take a better penalty. i'm glad we got rid of gutts and whilst i like macca (like barrett) for the fact that they give everything for team, i won't let that crowd my judgement on mccormack and that fact that he really isn't that good at passing and isn't the most creative player (moussa and bailey have already shown the kind of vision that macca lacks)

Passing Guttridge definitely was better indeed, but it wasnt amazing. That really is the only thing he can compare with though.

McCormack certainly doesnt have the flair but Id definitely value him twice as much as Guttridge.
