Guys to be honest I think you are interpreting what he is saying in the wrong way.

He mentions playing with a smile on his face, and it was more of a personal issue off the field that affected is on the pitch performance.

I personally have a good idea of who and what it is that made him come to this decision.

After all, who here has had a row with the missus etc... and gone to work in a bad mood and unable to focus???!

Bollox! As a football player, he can go out clubbing and find a better women so he will be happy again. Luckly for me, If I got dumped or I dump her, my look & my body will get me another girl!

Disappointing... Fast became one of my favourite players last season, but his infamous attitude has shone right through.

As usual probably two sides to the story but he has to rememeber that he was playing for Cambridge utd before he came to southend, and I suspect with his attitude he may end up there again.Pity because I thought he could improve as the team went forward.
There are not many players who leave Southend because they think they are better than the team and think they should be playing at a higher level and actually go on to do so.
