How about

Oxley

Leonard. White. Kyprianou. Hendrie

Mcglashen. Kightly. Timlin. Mcglaughlin

Cox

MAF

Just to be different

What is Whites injury? Saw a pic of him with a bloodied head. If it's just a head cut, I'm sure he will play today

It is White groin and Ferdinand and McLaughlin hamstring. Out of the three, McLaughlin's is not so bad so may be fit. The other two are touch and go, but will they be risked? as it could put them out for weeks if they play today and pull up in running.

I didn't know McLaughlin was injury. How did I miss that?! There goes my lineup!

Well I've put him in as his injury is not too bad and was able to train yesterday, I am told. They are short of first team bodies, so I think he'll play. I think it's crazy to risk the other two for the sake of one game, but you never know with Phil Brown.

The pictures on the OS of Thursday's training session showed Stevo joining in as well so he looks like he could be okay for today.

I agree, and even if Ferdinand is passed as 'fit' I'd like to see him sit this one out. You seem watch youth games and train here and there, who would you say is most ready to step in today if need be? In any position.

I'm so confused about what's going on at the club, I have added my own comedy to the post.

If Carling did unlikely team selections, and I had a time machine, this would be mine:

Flav's gloves (no need for Daryl as these gloves were magical)
Mark Hone's good looks (anyone setting eyes on this Adonis would be mesmerised)
Simon Coleman's barber (if anyone could keep Simon's barnet looking swell deserves a place)
Rob Newman's larger than life personality (truly awesome ability)
Che Wilson's goal against Col U (f*ck me did that actually happen?)
Mark Beard the worst player ever to play at all his clubs (Mark as himself)
Mike Marsh's scouse cousin (calm down, they do, do that though, don't they?)
Anthony Grant's free-kick deception skills (I've never seen anyone fall over and con the ref so often)
Simon Livett's left boot (Anyone wearing it would be transformed with skills like Ryan Giggs)
Jason Lee's pineapple hairdo (no Jason, just the pineapple)
Drew Broughton's LDV final boots (WTF nuff said!)

Subs? Who needs them.

Okay the real team for today:

Oxley
Elvis
White
Ferdinand
Hendrie
Maglashan
Leonard
Tomlinson
Kightly
Cox
MAF

Subs

After all this news and talk of defensive injuries I would not be surprised to see Ferdinand and White start. Would be interesting to see Bwonomo start at LB but don't think he will.

Oxley

Bwomono - White - Kiernan - Hendrie

McGlashan - Leonard - Timlin - Kightly

Cox - MAF

What crisis?

Bench: Smith, Robinson, Bridge, McLaughlin, Yearwood, Matuszaka, Defender.

I go to training sessions when able. The youth are normally 2 or 3 pitches away, so I don't see as much of them as you think. Elvis is ready, although still learning of course, could do with a bit more weight, as he can be bullied off the ball by stronger forwards. Looks good and skilful coming forward. Matsuzaka is a slow improver, and still not ready. Kyprianou is ready, has a fantastic left foot, but seems to have lost his way having not played at left back when Timlin filled in there instead of him last season when Coker was out injured. I think it knocked his confidence, but if white or Ferdinand don't make it today, then I think he will play centre defence.

John White and Anton Ferdinand have both failed fitness tests before the game.

Kyprianou and Bwomono expected to start.
