It's likely the stand holding the away fans isn't safe to hold more, and too expensive to fix, as it has been for ages now.

Oldham tickets only went on sale at 10am today - an hour before your post. We’ve shifted 2700 season tickets, which made up most of the rest you saw.

Ticket sales seem to be going well, I’ve spoken to several people today who were going boycott but have now changed their minds .

Still well down on previous seasons though.
So far 3,843 sold. It started at about 2,592 this morning so we have sold an extra 640 tickets and Oldham have sold 611.
