Beating Judas Fry and the Brum scum was a day unlike any other for me. It was the only Southend game I've ever been to where losing was just not an option, and the lads clearly felt the same way, 3-1 flattered the **** out of those *****.

Benji's goal against Bury was a great moment and, after 80 years in the lower divisions was a seismic moment for the Blues. The recent Play-off final win isn't as important, but I think the whole move leading up to the goal from our defenders dispossessing the time waster to Weston's great run and pinpoint accurate cross, BBBC's superb lay off and the Pig's so cleverly considered shot to the far post was a marvellous moment, absolutely marvellous.

Agreed. Except that the Wycombe player hardly wasted time. All he had to do was play the ball down the line so it went off for a throw close to the corner flag. Game over.
He didn't - and the rest is glorious history!
