Great British Heroes

4) Tony Hart - despite the fact he never showed by drawing in the gallery. Still a legend.

5) Stephen Fry - oh how I lambasted him last night when he said that "he'd done nothing of worth". Stephen, love, you're an absolute hero!

Prince Harry and Prince William- currently 'raising money for kids charities' whilst burning across South Africa on motorbikes. Not because they thought it might be fun but simply for charity you understand.

God save the queen.

Ian Beale - even when times were hard for him and he was at his lowest eb , he never sucumbed to the temptation of employing cheap forgeign labour at his chip shop and his catering empire .

He has managed to pull some decent crumpet even though he is a weazel , he's been shot , he's had a tache' , got about 6 children, not all of them his own , gets beaten up every week by the local hardman , without ever grassing him up ,

He is homophobic , but he is always willing to help the elders of the square , just a damn right typical quentessential english gentleman .

Good call.

True role models.

Their selflessness is even more impressive when you consider how much easier it would be for them to actually reach into their vast wallets and hand over some cash without all the bother of having to make logistical or security arrangements AND persuade their employers (well done to whoever pays their wages for supporting this) to let them take time off of work.

"As they say at the DHSS, we're getting the full benefit here."
"This lad has more checkouts than Tescos."
"There's only one word for that - magic darts!"
"Steve Beaton, he's not Adonis, he's THE donis"
"He's twitching like a Frog in a Blender."
