Question Goalkeeping options

No one on to this yet, so I shall start the ball rolling. Let's assume the worst and say Mildenhall is going to be out for a period of time with an injured ankle.......what do we do?
Do we take a chance on Joyce or Masters making a name for themselves, or do we bring in an emergency loan signing pdq?

I don't think we would be allowed to get someone on emergency loan if Joyce is fit. Didn't like the look of Mildy's injury today especially with his initial reaction to it, thought his all round performance was better aswell today.

we can make one more loan at the moment as we only have 4 loanee's on our books the transfer window is open for loans but if we bring in a keeper that means no exprerienced prem central midfielder

Dont worry we dont need a new keeper, revells our super sub keeper lol. I dont think there will be many fans having a go at mildy any more because there aren't many keepers who could play on with a broken ankle, and i have heard he has almost certainly broken it.

Sounded like Middenhall was really in pain

and to play on hopefully sliences his doubters.

Joyce should be given a go but of course if he and Midds are not fit for next week.

It would have to be Masters and im not sure the name of are 4th choice keeper but him on the bench aswell.

I think another reason he played on was to silence the boo boys, fair play to him but playing on it could have done him more damage. I'd never seen revell move so fast when he was putting the yellow shirt on, he was well fired up.

The mildy doubters that were at the hall today should hang their heads in shame, outside the bar in the west stand i listened to a load of overweight gits saying how mildy was our worst keeper ever, if he is out worst keeper ever i will buy and eat my hat.
Shame on you, you obviously were half p----d and should stay in the pub and away from roots hall

Brave I agree, he was certainly badly injured. But you said it was a broken ankle in one sentence and then in the next one it may not be broken. Make your mind up, please.

Anyone know .

How long Joyce is still injured for?

But it looks like that

Masters will the GK for the next game.

It was brave to play on in pain, and it would appear against doctors orders, but I'm not sure how that has a bearing on his overall ability, whatever you think of him. He certainly not our worst keeper, but from what I've seen so far, he's a long, long way from being the best.

Joyce has to be given a go, whats the point of signing him if we're going to sign someone on loan when Mildenhall gets injued.

I think Joyce is injured, thats why he didn't play/on subs bench against Orient. And I guess he and Masters are injured or has Tilly been taking advice from Warnock and not putting keepers on sub bench
