Give me gun...quick!!!

Whats funny is the same people who keep trying to sing the awful "stand up if you love Southend" all buggered off as well.
Indeed, people leaving were bad, but those were even worse. Wasnt best please with those having a go though, one bloke near me moaned all game, particularly at Bradbury, and then started abusing people for leaving. I'd rather people support and leave early than get on the players' back and stay until the end.

Like you Jam_Man, I've never left early and never will, but today I understood why people did.

They are indifferent, they arent interested in football.

I on the other hand am proud I dont leave games when we are losing.

Congratulations, have a medal.

People have the right to leave if they like, I left the pub 5 mins before time, I also left the pub at half time for the israiel england match, I wouldnt leave early when watching the game live as I like watching any team playing well.

At times today I feel that we were on top of the game, it wasnt the worst ever performence today, but against colchester the side need to up a gear surely? Would have loved to have brought the goat back for this game!

I am writing this early simply because for the first time in all my years following the blues, I left 12 minutes before the game ended. QUOTE]

Good job you didn't get called a West Ham fan for leaving early. Nearly a fight in the family stand. I think everyone had a right to leave that match early, after all at least we turned up, not like our players!!!!
just in front of me:eek: shows the heart of the club at the moment with the fans turning on EACHOVER ( i bet they were laughing at us and to bew honest i dont blame them)

I left early at 3-0 as I rather get home quickly as possible & I dont want to put up with the scummers singing in the North Bank - the players let us down, simple as that.

We all but relegated & let enjoy the last 5 game and re-built for League 1 next season. Col Utd having a 'indian summer' season, this time next season they will find it harder and a place in bottom 3.

People pay for the game, if they want to leave early fine, it doesn't bother me. I stay every game, usually the last to leave my seat in the south upper. We came up agsint a very good team today (it doesn't matter what the **** they are called and where they come from) with the best striking performance at roots hall this season. We proved today why we are in the bottom three, not because we didn't care today (we did), not because we played badly today but because this season we have not been a good enough team to play in the second tier of english football.

Tonight don't blame tilly or the boys for anything, except maybe taking this club to far in too shorter timescale to play in the championship.

I didn't think it was right to leave so early even if the Players were Pants Today ,it has a knock on effect with more deciding to leave when normally they would stay .It also was Live on Sky TV and gives a gutless and disloyal impression of our Fans when in fact they have been Magnificent in recent Years .
I know tempers were on edge Today as most of us were so Angry at losing such an important Game and playing so bad ,but I was so glad that I was not close to those Two Tossers that made that Little Girl Cry in the West Stand Family Enclosure after having a go at her Father .Having a Little Girl myself ,it made me a lot more Angry than the actual Game .

Im afraid i left early today after the 3rd went in because to be honest i felt as if the players couldnt give a toss so why should i. Ive supported the team for 27 years and at times they do my head which is obviously why i love them. However i dont mind them losing when they fight and show pride in wearing the shirt, today they didnt and that hurts.

I will still be supporting the club long after the current batch of players move on, i dont feel it has any reflection on my loyalty becuase i couldnt stomach a lack of comitment.

Any-one who left before the end today has every right to dont start telling them they are a lesser fan if they did. At least they were there for 80 so minutes which is more then the team was

Rubbish. i don't mind losing if we have a go, those players didn't give a ****.

Problem is the bloke with the little girl was the one that started it by shouting at all the people leaving from the South Stand. Not sure if he was swearing at them but he was telling everyone to go and support West Ham and winding them all up, then he couldn't handle it when a few started shouting back at him. He then pointed out that he had a young girl with him and called a steward over for protection.

Never seen the bloke before, will have a look if he is there against Barnsley.

Don't think I've ever seen such a mass exodus after 1 goal. I stayed behind after the end and the only players who bothered to go round the pitch and applaud the fans were Clarke, Maher, Gower and Macca.

I stayed after the final whistle in the hope that Duguid's handshake would be snaubbed by all players. Unfortunately, it was not.
