If they have the patience to queue up on the phone for an hour to get one of the last couple of home tickets then fair play to them.

Unless they are chavs with nothing better to do. Did anyone else notice the sh!tload of chavs hanging around in Gillingham in the vacinity of the stadium?

They probably wouldn't have enough credit left on their mobiles!

I think they might have a little difficulty in getting into the East, South and West as it's all sold out in these stands.

The only tickets left are in their own end that have been made available to home fans and anyone not on the club's database whose postcode is within a certain distance of Gillingham will not be allowed to buy any.

More hot air from Kent.

Gills were given an extra 200 tickets which they have sold. So in total they are bringing 1,200. Unless we sell out the NW Corner and a couple of blocks in the North we might as well have given them a couple of hundred more tickets.

I have a feeling that the scaffolding holding the scoreboard up will still be in place for the rest of this season (and next season probably:laugh: ).

That means our capacity will be cut by another 200 or so tickets. What is the capacity at Roots Hall now? It might even be lower than the 11,735 against Yeovil last season.

but didn't some of our fans go in the gills home end?
Some had a box didn't they?
Yeah I went for the Corporate Hospitality as a last resort. I was going to respect the fact I was in the Gillingham end n keep quiet throughout the game but once we scored 70-80% of the people around me got up, cheering and chanting so from then on we sang along with you fellow shrimpers behind the goal...much to the Home fans dismay!

With my unsuccesful quest for a ticket now drawing to a close, would it be rude of me to create a natural balance and go in the away end?

Eh?

Do you mean for the Gillingham or Bristol City game? Tickets still available in home areas (NW corner) for the Gillingham game aren't they?

hmmm i got my ticket..... row A in west stand.... sounds interesting... can you see anything? can you punch the linesman? i guess if northbank is open i can just move round!

Thought Gillingham / Southend were blood brothers from the caravan park either side of the Thames. I can't understand why you wouldn't like each other.

P.s We won 2-0
