Which is a bit annoying as all through the season it was hinted on the OS that we would be able to spend this summer, one article even used the phrase "warchest" and now we havent even got two pennies to rub together.
 
I think we are looking at him as a wide player, we are also in the market for a young irish winger Paul Cahillane who has just been released by Celtic, this will be to replace McCloud and probably Mark Yeates if he goes to Palace. We also signed Paul Reid from Barnsley yesterday to add to the recent signings of Heath and Lockwood, interesting times for both clubs.

True Andy he obviously wants to leave now because all the speculation has unsettled him, I trust you are hinting that Leeds are in the hunt.

Yeah another case of player power isn't it really. As you say though it will be interesting where he will go and I'd reckon there's more chance of you being publicly involved than us. Unfortunately for us.

Yep, Leeds I believe are indeed sniffing.

If Leeds are in there neither of us have much chance, although to be honest if he is looking for a regular game either of us would be a better bet. If it comes down to money they should be able to offer more than us two given their attendances, but there again they are not exactly great with the old finances!

Why would we spend £375,000 on just ONE player when we can buy a few useless players that cost nothing?? It's quantity over quality here.

I jest, but I know a number of fans who really feel like this.
