Getting to Wembley this evening

Blimey....tube strikes bringing the capital to a standstill, the BNP getting two MEPs and my old company (C&G) closing down all it's branches. All of a sudden my homesickness has gone away completely!

problem solved, jubilee line is running ok from stratford - wembley park, with minor delays. thats what im going to do, approx 50 min journey.

definitely consider leaving the game early because it'll be hell getting out. i heard they're not laying on extra trains like they normally do so you'll be screwed. also try and pick up the jubilee line at Westminster instead of Baker Street.. cos it'll be mental there too.

edit - just read you're getting on at stratford

From the BBC

We have just arrived at Wembley - honestly the easiest journey of our lives. We have no idea what all the fuss is about! Took a train to London Victoria, then Jubilee Line straight to Wembley Park. I have never seen the underground so empty, absolutely ideal!"
