I thought he was decent and that it was Malone who was slated on here as he kept our future star Johnny Herd from playing at left back. We've had quite a few left backs over the years and they all seem to be doing well!

I rated George Friend, didn't he miss a sitter at Old Trafford a day or so after returning to Wolves. Think it was in the game where Mick McCarthy infamously 'rested' 10 players

Yep the only goal in a 3-1 to Southampton. Was only with us a month but was unable to extend his stay because of the club’s outstanding debt to HMRC which led to a transfer embargo from the Football League. Cheers Ron you ****
