I’ve said it before & I’ll say it again, Broner needs professional help for his mental state. It wouldn’t surprise me if he was dead before he was 40.
Can’t believe a word that Hearn says, although the MayPac2 rumours have been flying around for months, as I said they’ve supposedly got the T-Mobile arena booked for Cinco De Mayo weekend.
That’s already been taken by Canelo v Jacobs.
Oh ok, I hadn’t seen that. Seems a bit weird to announce a fight now, that’s still 9 months away.
I’ve heard September for MayPac2.
£19.95 to watch DeGale v Eubank!! ITV have missed a massive trick here by putting this on free to air. I can’t see this doing good numbers, I am hopefully going to this as I should be able to get free tickets.
Linares got sparked this morning in the first round by Cano. Very unexpected and a massive hit to his career.
Well 40years old and Pacman gave Broner a boxing lesson, and Broner had the audacity to think he won. Clearly he is off his head.
That after fight interview was embarrassing! So unbelievable deluded, when the announced the first score you could see he was annoyed straight away as he thought it was a lot closer. Pacquiao looked in good shape and I wouldn’t rule him out putting on a better show if he fights Mayweather.
Badou Jack though!! That cut was awful.
I really like watching boxing but struggle to keep up and follow who is who, who is fighting who, when the fight is on,. what time and channel it can be watched (Not streaming site links).
Is there somewhere some sort of timetable/schedule that shows this sort of info, or could someone post up this info for the next week or so on a regular basis if they are have the info.?
That would be most helpful to me and I am sure others on here.
http://boxrec.com/
Click on the schedule it has every boxing event in the world dates, times etc. The main ones I can put up on here. It’s a quiet period for the UK fights at the moment. The next fight in the UK will be on Sky not PPV and will be filled with prospects. Ted Cheeseman is topping the bill.
This weekend coming ITV4 early hours Sunday morning, Keith Thurman makes his return to the ring after 2 years out.
Top Man
Thanks for the link, and that info is great, have already set up my TV to watch/record so I do not miss next Sunday's fights.
He (Broner ) definitely needs to change his manager, trainer and corner men, Broner was coming back at the end of each round and asking them if he won that round ,every time he did they said yes to him, they should have been telling him the truth not being nice to protect their wage packet, and that in ring interview sorry that was embarrassing even the interviewer couldnt believe what he was saying.. Broner is out of his mind i have to agree with you .I reiterate my point from the other day, Broner’s a ticking time bomb. He’ll definitely be dead or in prison, before too long.
I don’t think there’s any hope for him. He’s too far gone, and the only way he could ever come back, would be to completely change every aspect of his lifestyle. Which he wouldn’t, because he loves that gangsta life.
It’s even more annoying, because as I’ve said before, he has so much talent. 7-8 years ago, people were tipping him to become P4P king, once Floyd retired.
That cut for Badou Jack is quite simply up there with some of the worst I’ve ever seen. Absolutely brutal. You don’t play boxing.

His hands are tied though, the WBC have ordered the rematch between Wilder v Fury. Let’s be honest Whyte v Joshua doesn’t sell out Wembley. He can use this Miller fight to start selling Joshua in the US.
If you asked people in the US who the best heavyweight is at the moment they’ll either say Wilder or Fury. If you ask them who the best heavyweight is in the UK they’ll say Fury. He hasn’t had the exposure to the US market. I don’t care what anyone or Hearn says, it doesn’t matter if you’re selling our Wembley in the UK and selling loads of UK PPV’S, the money is in the US. The venues don’t have to be as big but the PPV buys alone outweighs selling out Wembley.
Being a US PPV star should be the target for all boxers as that’s where the money is! Where I agree with you it’s not an exciting fight, it’s a good move for Hearn and Joshua to get AJ out into the US market.
I’ve been hearing Whyte is now a free agent and talking to PBC and Al Haymon. Also big Frank has said sign with him and he’ll earn more with him than Matchroom.
Depending how Fury v Wilder goes I could see it being a very boring year for AJ. Unless Wilder wins then that’s the only way we AJ gets a good fight this year. If Fury wins I expect there will be a 3rd fight. And no doubt Frank will push for that just to **** on Hearn’s chips.
Don’t discount Miller though, he’s a big big unit and may give AJ problems, personally I see it going 12 and AJ winning on points.
The one fight in the heavyweight division I do want to see is Joyce v Ortiz which is being talked about.
Organisations order fights all the time that get pushed back. Always have, always will. Believe me, if Hearn wanted either Fury or Wilder, he has the clout to get it made.
Totally agree that from a business stand point, facing Miller in America is a great move for AJ/Matchroom. I don’t share your optimism that it’ll be anywhere as close as a 12-rounder though. AJ will waltz the fight in under 6 rounds.
