Can't see us getting much over 5,000 for this, the days of the FA cup being a crowd puller are long gone (even with cheap tickets)
On the plus side it's good to see that our home league crowds are slowly increasing - a slow but steady increase was always more likely than everyone who bought a ticket for the Morecambe game returning every week

Oh dear the crowd was only 4,613 and with Oldham brining 350 that means we actually had more home fans turn up for the 1st round replay against Preston on a Tuesday night. If this match had been anywhere near full price then the crowd would have been much worse. I'm not 100% sure but there seemed a higher than usual number of teenagers & young adults in attendance but a lower than normal number of older adults & fewer OAP fans.

Mind you it was still the 4th highest 2nd round crowd with only Charlton & the 2 Sheffields getting higher crowds.

Not sure what else the club could have done to get a higher crowd as when you think about it the recent offer for the Morecambe game meant an adult & child could go for £10, yesterday Adult & child (non-season ticket holder) would only have been £12 so not a great deal of difference.

We're in the run up to Christmas, bloody expensive time of year, people don't have a lot of extra cash. I really think its as simple as that.

Agreed just after most peoples payday the wives would have insisted on dragging a lot of hubbies Christmas shopping..especially as we have so many games coming up.

People have lost interest in the early rounds of the FA Cup unless we drew a local side the crowd was always gonna be on the low side.
