Frightening!!!

Does it tell you something when an Orient fan has to put you right?

:thump:

If you bothered to read my last post you would see that IMHO our 'terrible manager' owed 'HIS' apparent succsess to a certain Freddy Eastwood and that until Freddy Easwood arrived we were a very average 2 division side and that if he had brought Paynter, Harrold and Farcical Foran then instead of taking the advise of Mark Stimpson, we would no doubt still be there.

Actually I've read all your posts and I haven't seen one yet I agree with. Yes, Freddy has been a factor in our success, but no, we weren't a "very average league two side" when Freddy arrived, we were already showing that we had something better than that as a team. Remember the match before Freddy's debut? Boston at home, and we were murdering them until Flav's had his rush of blood. And we still beat them with The Cat in goal.

And no, I don't think that you are "born knowing" how to cross, head and tackle - I think you need to be born with a certain inate ability, but absolutely you need to practice, practice, practice to achieve that perfect header, superb crossfield pass or expertly timed tackle, and it can be and is taught.

Before Eastwood signed Tilly had saved us from relegation and took us to the LDV Final. Had we not signed Eastwood, Lawrie Dudfield could well have hit 15+ goals that season.
