Next friday, before said old bint turns up, present the old men with some lolly sticks, rubber bands and a bag of flour. Telling them that you are sick of all the talk, and that is all they need to complete the deed and then they can shut up about it.
Unless of course these people are late 40's early 50's then it is perfectly natural and you should not knock it.........
I remember when my 1st marriage broke up and I was single again, my father had been ill as well. One day I got a call from my mother and I asked how Dad was (bear in mind I was 41 myself at this time) and she told me that he had just got the all clear from the hospital and that he was fine , infact everything was fine now, then she added the phrase "even in the bedroom"
I was distraught...... my 68 year old Mum was getting more action than I was !
