Good shout.  I think leaving Norwich and coming somewhere where he would get first team football would give him a new lease of life and I think he'd be a good shout.

Stewart and Bridges both, IMO, past Championship football.  I'd love Sharp here but we'd have to break the bank to get him, and I can't see him being interested in coming here.  If he left them, it'd probably be for a Prem or upper level Championship side.
Whoops, wasn't supposed to post as my brother there! Idiot kept himself logged in on my laptop

Billy Sharp would cost at least £1 million and lets be honest there would be a host of decent CCC clubs after him, so wages ect, ect become an issue. I would love to see him here but I very much doubt it given our postion.

I just can't see us paying that sort of money for one player. What is our record transfer fee? Is it still Mike Marsh for £500,000 from Galatasaray?

Very good shout, I dont want a young and up'n comer but experience at this level thanks.

If he does go in Jan, which on recent performances, I think is unlikely, I doubt we would spend more than say 300k....even if we got 3 mill for him. Look at whats happened recently with the loan fiasco, RM isn't putting his weight behind the team all he is interested in is the new stadium.... how many chairman have done that. I would go as far and say that I don't think he wants us in the CCC,if he did he would try harder....

Yep, althought there's been the "undisclosed deals" I can't see any of them have come near £500k.
