I doubt we will ever see fred back as long as we are league 2.

If we get into league 1 then who knows , but his wages are rediculous for the amount of time he plays and just shows why contracts should be more money the more you pay and vice versa and the reason why a wonka like tevez gets 200k a week to go on holiday.

Might be ancient history but he is someone that could still bang in a shed load of goals for us and would probably do his career good working with someone like Sturrock to put him on the straight and narrow.

Freddy Eastwood will go down in history as one of our great players for his goals and performences. So his name is always going to be brought up as returning and the man himself even stated he would love to come back one day. So it's not ancient history it's Southend fans hoping for our Thierry Henry to return and bang in some goals for us.

Maybe its worth a gamble he could come back in a deal simiular to the guy Flood that PS has brought in till season end if his willing to kuckle down and get back to fitness, but always his past weekly wedge is going to be out of our range so a deal is going to a dead duck
 
I'll start going to Bournemouth home games if he joins them. Will let you all know how he gets on.
