Reading the comments it seems if noone likes Eastwood, one compares him to the Tevez saga, hard to know if it's fame or greed that let him down but he doesn't sound like the same player anymore, can't see him doing better than a lower league 2 club next season, with such damning reports from Coventry it's hard to see who is going to take a risk by signing him

but who is to say his next club wouldnt inject the passions back into him? We've signed plenty of players who have failed badly for other sides in the past and done well for us and vice-versa

Eastwood was brilliant. The most talented natural goal scorer we've ever had. He'd do nothing for 70 minutes and then suddenly wave his wand and bang, three men taken on and bottom corner. Incredible player! Unfortunately it doesn't seem like he wants to play football anymore. Which is a shame as his international career could take off aswell!

Shows what he knows, he had 3 good seasons with us (even when we were rock bottom of the CCC he scored 16) and we never played hoof and hope.

Despite wanting nothing to do with him a few months ago, Freddy came on as a sub for Coventry in the 79th minute according to the BBC, is this an typo, or have Coventry decided to give him one last chance to prove himself?
EDIT: Bit of research shows Eastwood netted twice in the reserves earlier in the week

Seems harsh to rule a player out based on 3 comments posted on a local website...If we applied the same logic to Shrimperzone we wouldn't even get a 5 a side team out!

There's a pic on the CCFC website gallery from their last game showing Fred applauding the crowd (bet they enjoyed that!) so he obviously came on at some point. Doesn't look exactly skinny to be fair..
