Lewis hunt as competition? You have to be kidding.
Perhaps competing for most shocking performances.
I dont think Hunt has made an appearance for Wycombe yet

Defensively, Lewis at his best was only marginally better than Francis at his worst.
In an attacking role, I'd give Lewis a run for his money as he can't enter the opposition half without getting a nose-bleed.
Surely if he was as good as some on this board still believe:
a) he'd be playing regularly in our first team, or
b) he'd be playing regularly in Wycombe's first team.
By my reckoning he'll be playing in some Blue Square South's first team in a year or so.
He's played in their last two games, presumably at right-back.
Moussa and Harrold played both games as well.
Don't know if he'd been injured then, a few weeks ago he hadn't played a minute of football for them.

Hunt was underrated. He may not have had the dynamism of Francis going forward but defensively he was superior.
Rubbish.
The reason Hunt hasn't been playing regularly for Wycombe is because he was injured in pre-season. He made his comeback in the reserves on 14 October and has since played the last two league games for top of the table Wycombe. He is currently on course to be playing league one football next season.
Hunt was for my money a far better defender than Francis, although Francis was more flamboyant going forwards. If Hunt was still at the club, he'd have easily replaced Francis again, whose form has been woeful this season.
Not lloking to disagree again but Lewis Hunt was in my book a decent defender. My main critism of him was his appauling attacking play - something which Francis offers in abundance.
Erm, JCR for Barnsley - the goal against us!?!
3) If the play is over the other side of the field the right back job is to tuck in and cover the immediate danger (the centre). He only goes back to right back if the play switches sides in my book. At least as someone who has played right back a fair bit that was what I was always told.
Francis had another poor game at Tranmere, whilst Hunt was part of a back four that kept a clean sheet and scored the winning goal for Wycombe. They look a good bet to come up to join us in Leage One next year, and we can see what we let go - a very useful and versatile player. And you know Harrold will score against us don't you?
I think that francis is one of our best players and defenders, without him where not very good, we havent got a decent replacement, hunt was no competition, sankofa is no where there his ability. His got a great cross, his quick, his good at tackling and heading. Nothing wrong with him, my fave player :) ...
And hunt scored because his in a lower division
