Question Francis Laurent

Having just watched it again I would have thought at the bare minimum its a yellow, considering what the ref had given Heath a yellow for shortly before.

Spot on post.

I
This was just one of a number of instances where I didn't understand the referees' disciplinary actions, not least the shocking challenge by their forward on Mildy in the first half which in my view (which was very good) should have been a straight red for a kick at his head when the ball was already gathered.

Fish- I guess we all see things differently I had a perfect view of this from the West family stand, the ball was there to be won. Our defender (can't remember who) was trying to shepard it and it was never going to get to Mildy in time. Their player HAD to go for the ball, it was there to be won. To me it looked like the studs of his boot just caught the top of Mildy's head. It was never a free kick in my opinion.
It was very brave (stupid?) of Mildy, as he had ample opportunity to put the ball into Row Z

With all due respect don't forget he was out for quite some time at the end of last season with a bad ankle injury. If it was the same one then you can completely understand the reaction both of the player and the club in whisking him off asap.

I was only joking, just a good opportunity to have a jibe at our friends from across La Manche!

It's a relief and it did look a lot worse on Saturday. Hope his gangly legs are back on the pitch again soon!

Good news really.

Hopefully he will be back for the 2 home games at the start of Sept, against Orient and Leeds.

He will scare the life outta 'em!

Glad his only out for 2-4 weeks, really think he can have a massive impact on our season when fully fit.

Must be me but I cant see it personally.

I think he is average at best. Full or tricks but sadly spends most of the time folling himself. Hope he proves me wrong.

I think on this occasion it's you Dave. He's strong and fast, and has good feet. I'm fairly sure his trickery results positively rather than negatively the majority of the time. And, unlike players like JCR, when he does beat his man, he's often away and clear.
