Question Forum Names - Why and What?

mines pretty obvious- short for 'United we stand, divided we fall'

How I feel about the team and us as supporters - wishing that we could create a 'united ' atmosphere at Roots Hall - which tends to only happen a couple of times a year ( I know recently we have been 'United' in being ****ed off- but that wasn't quite what I had in mind )

Good thread, I had wondered about a couple of names on here so good to get an explanation. Mine was kingshrimp, like kingprawn but with a southend united vibe, when morcambe came up most people changed shrimp to shrimper and I followed suit.

It's my nickname and also my surname with a Y on the end. I think on the original SZ I signed up as Super Shrimper.

I've been Greebosan on internet forums for as long as I can remember. I'm not entirely sure why to be honest, my best guess is it's a combination of the cat Greebo from the Terry Pratchett books, with the Japanese-style name ending of san. The last bit may be samurai linked as I've always found them fascinating, although to go off on a tangent, it infuriates me when people claim to be 'Western Samurai', which to my mind is impossible. The Samurai were a unique class system in fuedal Japan, you can't just claim to be one by being a tit with a sword.

Sure it wasn't Western Saveloy? They go good with chips.

When I created my first forum account when the internet came of age I didnt know what to put so I used the first thing that came to mind.

Not a massive fan of jam, dont mind some of The Jam songs but not exactly a fan.

I am a man though.
