Finished my first season last night. Bottle the title. Knocked out of the FA Cup in the semis.
Faced FGR in the play off final at Wembley where they raced into a 3-0 lead. With all but promotion confirmed we get a penalty. Macauley Bonne steps up and hits the post. This is with less than 30 mins to go.
An onslaught from us saw FGR pegged back to 3-3 and the game going into extra time. In the first half of extra time. Bit part player Josh Walker who is now comfortable playing as a left winger gets into the box and drills the ball into the far corner. 4-3.
That’s how it stayed and the Blues have been promoted back to the EFL. We also had a youth intake which heavily impacts this, had a very promising CB come through who already has a couple of appearances at the tender age of 15. A few others to keep any eye.
As per rule two, I’m allowed to sign players that came through our academy. Charlie Kelman is first through the door for a fee of £500. Dru Yearwood is next on my wanted list. The board have also approved my request to improve the youth facilities.
Just got into June so there will be more updates on the way .

Unfortunately not. Was embargoed until January. Financials weren’t too bad. Started the season off with about 700k in the banks and finished off with about 500k

Just started the game over again.
I got up to 2047-48 was at Luton, but got bored with zero Budget and £39m debt, even though I took them from NL to L1 play offs.
So started again at Roots Hall. July 2023.
Still got some of the old players, Mooney, Clifford's just gone to Kings Lynn and Wes is still here. Although I'm playing the reality version, so they will leave in due course.
Henderson has just bougth the club and although news mentioned Ron was selling, it's Jason Rees that left as chairman and Ron wasn't mentioned.
Under embargo until December apparently, so we'll see how it goes, but I'm already out of the bottom 4 and heading up the table. Would be top if it wasn't for the point deduction.
