Perhaps I shall have to ensure I have an 'argument' with the girlfriend at some point during the day, therefore giving me an excuse to go out....!

) took his girlfriend to the Arsenal match for Valentines day. They had an interview with him on Sky Sports News. Now Griffin Park isn't as glamourous as Highbury, but if she loves you she will go with you.

If she is a jinx, don't take her at any costs

That didn't go un-noticed by me either Matt. Brentford away was one of my 'must do' games, due to it's proximity and there being so many great pubs in the surrounding area.

Sod it. I'll offer to buy her drinks all evening and get her a meat pie at half-time. W4 Shrimperette will be well up for that.

Yep, Bristol City away.

Needless to say, he's a bit Grim Down South at the moment (geographically speaking).

Not surprised, although I still think that "Oor Wullie", aka Willie McLaren, is the man to go for. The boy has got talent... if you're looking for a speedy winger who can hurt a side, he's your man.

I'd love it if someone at Roots Hall agreed...

Gow should be an interesting one to watch. No pace on him, but a really Sheringham-type player. He should do fairly well in the SPL, I reckon.

As for catching up - depends what our movements are, to be honest; but sounds good in theory. I'll let you know!

I dunno... I'm sure I've seen her celebrating just as wildly as us lot, on occasion. The Canvey game in the Sports Cafe leaps to mind, for starters...
