Labyrinth - good fun, but cut out the truly abysmal David Bowie songs and it'd be a whole lot better. 6/10

Bicycle Thieves (1948)
Seen this before but it was so long ago that I'd forgotten most of it so I needed a re-watch. Really enjoyed it, it looks great on Blu-Ray, and all the great things people say about it are all spot-on. Absolutely essential cinema. 10/10

Saw Bob Rafelson's 1970 Five Easy Pieces again yeserday.Probably my favourite Jack Nicolson movie.Although he was outstanding in Cuckoo's Nest too.

Guy on small fishing boat finds empty yacht in the ocean. but is he alone?
Literally one guy in the entire film.
Not a masterpiece but an enjoyable watch and my wife watched it all the way through which is unusual
Also interesting credits re the amount of related people Involved in making the film

Watched 1917 recently. I found it a bit light on actual plot, but the filmmaking was incredible.

Totally agree, the attempt to make it look like one long take was astounding. I thought it flagged a little around 60 - 70 minutes in, but apart from that I was pretty much fully engaged with the plot and the characters.

Watched This Is Spinal Tap again, still the 11th best film ever made!

Caught up with Parasite and....it was ok. Enjoyable but not the masterpiece a lot make it out to be. 7/10

Watched Kingsman last night as there was sod all new on TV. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
