We'd have needed four goals to win yesterday. Five or six to put the game "beyond doubt". Has Spencer scored that many in his career? If we'd lost 1-0 then I'd see your point.

To be fair with a more potent threat up front we could just have easily been a couple ahead before Morecambe got a sniff, i feel if we had gone ahead in the game we would have won as i'm sure Morecambe would have wilted due to their poor start to the season.
 
ok yes we let 3 oals in a bad day at the office at the back . but if wee keep with sturrock and corr we will o down

Like they wilted when we twice equalised? We scored two goals at home. That should be enough to get three points and if it isn't then it's a clear sign of which end of the pitch your problems are (hint: it's the same end that's been our problem since April 2006 during which time we've signed around 15 forwards and still leak goals).
 
Building up our defense is a lot cheaper than bringing on strikers, and will still win you games as long as we get one goal, something our current team is capable of doing
