As I have posted in my Facebook profile, I hope any armchair premiershite fans in the Southend area choked on their beer and got food poisoning from their snacks as they watched the football on TV this weekend. Balls to them I say, we don't need them quite frankly....we'll keep this club alive despite their condescending comments and snide jokes.

A line has been drawn in the sand in recent years between them and us, those who get it when it comes to supporting the team which represents their local community and those too stupid to understand.

Mine is slightly similar but is a dig at the fans of clubs who should see our plight & think either we've experienced similar or it could be us. Stand up & be counted fans of West Brom, Sunderland, Ipswich Town, Watford, Barnsley, Celtic, Rangers, Falkirk etc etc

I find it quite funny the west ham fans taking the mick seeing as how there club has been repossesed by the bank and are in some major difficulties themselves. I live in a massive Tottenham area and most of my mates are season ticket holders and have fond memories of our club and wish us nothing but the best.

While collecting on friday evening. I had Peterbro,Forest and many Gill's fans stop and wish us well while donating, also a guy from German came back and put a second donation in when he found out how bad things were ! Then at work today in Romford i had a few idiot wet sham fans who knew i am a Southend fan, laughing at our plight.

Southend fans dislike, some even hate West Ham is that not true?

so what do you expect?

I'm a Hammer living in Southend and hope that whatever the outcome tomorrow that the club remains. Southend needs a football club.

Indeed and rather ironic that they can take the mick but are in as deep themselves!

They are probably expecting a bit of good will from creditors seeing as they won the World Cup by proxy in 1966.

Thanks - tbh, there's no club I'd like to see going through what we are, regardless of who they are. And if that's West Ham in a short time as rumoured, that would even go for them.

I've had lots of supporters of Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea and even a few Orient fans wish us all the best. As one Orient fan said to me " It could happen to anyone of us at anytime " - very true.
