tilbury in the 70s was quite a nice place to live.

Having worked in Tilbury on and off for 30 years I can assure it has never been a nice place to live IMO.

It would certainly benefit from John Betjeman diverting his bombs from Slough. Although preferably not during working hours.

Unless you are about 5 years old then it shouldn't be. It's for kids. My daughter is at a Halloween party right now dressed as a witch and surrounded by other witches, wizards and several Dracula's. When she comes home there will be 2 pumpkins sitting on the door step that she will like and will gain me some much needed daddy/daughter points as I have barely seen her due to work.
