FC - Week 8

Great knock from Jacko (still thinking of selling though), ably supported by Fat-Boy, should reach declartion figure early tomorrow morning, hopefully we'll have it all wrapped up by lunch-time.

Blades United v BATTY SHRIMPERS

BATTY SHRIMPERS won the toss and elected to field.
Pitch: Dusty

End of Over 60 (1 runs). BATTY SHRIMPERS: 306-2, runrate=5.10
Lead by 270 runs. (Blades United 36-10)
Lockett 10-0-31-1
Ricketts* 60 (80 balls)
Pollock 161 (174 balls)

Last Wicket: Nagendranath c. Lucas b. White 3 (FOW: 166/2)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

School-girl error from Mrs BB, she's done herself out of about £160k

DIBS DIPPERS v Warwickshire Bears

DIBS DIPPERS won by an innings and 312 runs.

Thankfully their No. 11 survived 5 balls from Suthers to take it to a 2nd day.

A grand total of 29-19 in 43 overs from them, 11 of them extras and not one batsman has made more than one run in the second innings!

Me 4th playing 7th away. Four firstteamers rested for this and the only wicket I lost was a runout. Bowled them out cheaply and 9 more to go. Should be done by lunchtime.

Racked up 264 in 57 overs and have set a declaration of 750 with duff bowlers lined up to bowl if/when required!

BT will be offline from 9am until prob 2/3pm tomorrow due to the new server. Might set my OD team up now, just incase ...

End of Over 42 (Maiden). Ryhall Revelers: 73-7, runrate=1.74 (1st Inn: 62-10)
Trail by 429 runs. (Southend United 363-7 dec & 201-10)
Barrowdale 18-14-6-2
Fawziya* 0 (8 balls)
Calvert 0 (8 balls)
Last Wicket: Padayachie c. Wright b. Barrowdale 23 (FOW: 73/7)

Seems faster to me too but that could be as few are on it. Wrapped mine up in about 20 overs this morning. Of more interest to me 3rd place drawing with 5th looks a distinct possibility putting me above them for a whole week. I play the runaway leaders next week at my place but I'm going all out full strength to see how I get on. Hopefully he'll assume I'll throw it - just like the first game and rest a couple.

seems i won just before we came back on air (94th over of the day)..

N-Trance shire won by an innings and 472 runs.

Best i've managed to do the oppo for is 30 (7 & 23)!

Wracked up lots of runs and took a wicket this evening. Johnson/Jackman/Cook on early doors tomorrow and will get them out for another win. Took £121.000 in gate reciepts today, so the bank balance is looking good!

:)

They had the nerve to add another 6 runs yesterday before Hallett took out their No. 11 with his only ball of the entire match.

Important thing is, despite a GFI on Sunday, we're back to all sublime other than two who should be sublime tomorrow. Playing 2nd tomorrow in our ever changing league and then will GFI in vain on Sunday to at least try to give Hotspurs a game.

Johnson took 4 wickets and Jackman took 5 wickets (in a total of 12 overs) to seal the win! £97,000 in the bank so thats £330,000 in 3 days! Lovely!
