Well that was a rather eventful day.

Added a further 100 from my overnight total to leave them 322 to win. My openers got the 100 in 20 overs, not the 25/30 I was hoping for. So that left them 322 from 90 overs which was very much doable. At one stage they needed 155 from 50 overs with 9 wickets in hand. I was beginning to damn my batsman for scoring too quickly. At 280-4 with 20 overs left I was fearing the worst although my bowlers were bowling pretty tidely but to bowl at 2 an over for 20 overs is a hard ask. Snagged their best bet for a win at 298-5, 24 to win off 15 overs. We rattled through the tail to bowl them out for 308, a win of 14 runs.

Phew.

Not many close FC games, that's one of the closest I've seen! Nice work Al. BTW, you going to Elmo's stag?

Here, Mario and Plums still being on invigorated is proving that I can't GFI a cup game and still expect full fitness on Friday. Fair enough Plums is one net but I'm not giving Mario any at the mo. I'd have hoped he'd recover in time.

Bottom line is I've resigned myself to FC relegation as I'm going to stick them both on 3 nets shortly and it's going to leave me very short in the bowling dept in FC!

Someone just came in with a 5.5 million bid for Tapp!

:)

Lea upto 10.4 million already, i think someone is going to end up paying too much for him!

Decided to make a bid now and thats as high as i can go, unless i get home from work pronto and decide to have another bite!

Kev

Thanks B, it was squeaky bum time rather! I wanted a win as morale is flagging and my team came up trumps this time!

Not the stag do, dint' get an invite for that :( but he said earlier he'll have 'a night on the town' for those not going to the stag, I assume it's for his older friends (literally ;))

Shame, I think I'll be able to count the number of people I know there on 2 or 3 fingers!

Though to be fair nobody has actually got an official invite to the stag as useless ******* Euan is organising!!

'tis a shame, I don't think Euan knows me anyway!
