FC - Week 5

Took out their other crappy opener, if we can get one of these we should expose a shaky middle order.

End of Over 18 (6 runs). Every_one_a_Wrongun: 47-2, runrate=2.61
Horrigan 1-0-6-0
Baldwin* 25 (47 balls)
Malcolm 8 (20 balls)

Last Wicket: Trainer c. Maymann b. Cook 4 (FOW: 25/2)

chugging along - 50 partnership up

End of Over 19 (2 runs). Napster's XI: 74-1, runrate=3.89
Wynand 1-0-2-0
Sutherland* 30 (38 balls)
Jefferson 25 (57 balls)

Last Wicket: Murray b. Jeithoon 17 (FOW: 24/1)

I have rested Raven, Tapp, Jackman and Titterton today! Also Browne is playing as a specialist bat and Stanton will cover behind the stumps. Made a very solid start to the game. With Mrs BB resting her stars too, im not sure how this is going to go. If Lamb, Bayliss, Browne and Philip bat well, then i should be looking for a positive result. Glad they are batting first. I was going to make them bat first, if i had won the toss!

Kev

Slow going but at least we haven't collapsed in an ungainly heap !

End of Over 22 (2 runs). BATTY SHRIMPERS: 56-1, runrate=2.55
Ogrady 11-2-14-1
Raziuddin* 22 (55 balls)
Ricketts 26 (68 balls)

Last Wicket: Blake c. Sellars b. Ogrady 3 (FOW: 6/1)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

End of Over 23 (4 runs). DIBS DIPPERS: 49-2, runrate=2.13
Guy 4-1-8-1
Shaw* 3 (4 balls)
Judd 12 (64 balls)

Last Wicket: Hutton c. Browne b. Guy 21 (FOW: 45/2)

kev - I take it you don't have much bowling, but a fair bit of batting, whereas Mrs BB has a reasonable bowling attack (well Mohammed's playing), but not much batting. If so it could all be over inside a couple of days

I dont have much of anything tbh matey. Guy is my only first team bowler playing. The rest are 7-9K rated bowlers. Like i said, i've rested 4 of my best players in Raven, Tapp, Titterton and Jackman! Lamb, Bayliss, Phillp, Browne, Stanton, Phillips (all batters!) Hitchman (all rounder and normally takes wickets against average opposition and is due on soon!) Guy, Khoto, Tomlinson, Thompson (all bowlers!) is my order and getting it done it 2 days would be lovely!

:)

Jefferson gone, despite popping to strong/competent yesterday

End of Over 28 (1 runs). Napster's XI: 103-2, runrate=3.68
Cogan 5-0-11-1
Booth* 1 (1 balls)
Sutherland 46 (59 balls)

Last Wicket: Jefferson c. Pieters b. Cogan 36 (FOW: 102/2)

27.6 . Cogan to Sutherland
Short ball by Cogan, which flies past Sutherland. Sutherland practices a hook shot. No runs for that one either, lad.
27.5 1 Cogan to Booth
In the air, but safely into the gap. He’ll pick up one there.
27.4 W Cogan to Jefferson
Cogan is delighed by that catch, Pieters dived wide to his left to take a stupendous catch off the inside edge of Jefferson's bat!

90-2 after 30 overs.

I'll need a very good bowling performance from Daniels to win this I think, unless I can up my scoring rate once their bowlers tire.

I bokked Hitchman! Lol!

End of Over 31 (13 runs). DIBS DIPPERS: 81-2, runrate=2.61
Hitchman 1-0-13-0
Shaw* 23 (30 balls)
Judd 21 (86 balls)

Last Wicket: Hutton c. Browne b. Guy 21 (FOW: 45/2)

MrB gets his all important breakthrough through Sajiid.

BB - you're up against one of my old rivals on hattrick.

Great spell from Saj, Ozzy is coming on soon though so they will continue to add runs.

End of Over 33 (5 runs). Every_one_a_Wrongun: 85-3, runrate=2.58
Sajjad 8-2-13-1
Evan* 4 (9 balls)
Baldwin 51 (97 balls)

Last Wicket: Malcolm c. Curtis b. Sajjad 12 (FOW: 72/3)

Lunch-time, and although it's been painfully slow, we've not done too badly

End of Over 35 (1 runs). BATTY SHRIMPERS: 84-2, runrate=2.40
Barraclough 9-2-28-1
Raziuddin* 31 (94 balls)
Law 7 (26 balls)

Last Wicket: Ricketts lbw b. Barraclough 36 (FOW: 72/2)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fairly even in the big game of the week

End of Over 35 (6 runs, 1lb). DIBS DIPPERS: 92-2, runrate=2.63
Tomlinson 9-2-25-1
Judd* 24 (98 balls)
Shaw 30 (42 balls)

Last Wicket: Hutton c. Browne b. Guy 21 (FOW: 45/2)

90-3. Hoped for more wickets this morning, they have one absolute superstar bowler who could cause me some problems on a green pitch when we bat.

christ alive... zzzzzzzzzzz

End of Over 36 (4 runs). N-Trance shire: 104-1, runrate=2.89
Mclean 9-2-29-0
Cole* 50 (112 balls)
Gadd 27 (70 balls)

Last Wicket: Tekere b. Carrington 25 (FOW: 51/1)
