Tries to sweep it, but he's bowled around his legs!

45.4 W Garrick to Chirwa
Poor delivery, full and slow. Chirwa leant back, and got right underneath it, smacking it straight into the air and straight down the throat of Rieger.

End of Over 34 (7 runs). One Hit Wonders: 121-2, runrate=3.56 (1st Inn: 452-4 dec)

Boring end to a good game

Morton* 25 (79 balls)
Saunders 46 (103 balls)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

General Stars won by 92 runs.

Good win for Kev's boys, as my prediction of yesterday came true.

Nick wrapped his up after the earlier craziness, 16-4 to 149-4 to win.

His all rounder Dyke hitting 77 not out to go with his match bowling figures of 13-91. I'm back in charge for the next few days as he's off again, looking at his fitness he's going to struggle in tomorrows game and Sunday's friendly against GBG should certainly be interesting!

It's all over, Petts win by 147 runs. 2nd win in FC - just a shame about the OD side...

End of Over 53 (Maiden). The Fortescue CC: 170-10, runrate=3.21 (1st Inn: 365-10)
Trail by 147 runs. (Pettefershire CCC 502-3 dec & 180-4 dec)
Stevenson 8-4-14-2
Dowdall* 0 (7 balls)
Last Wicket: Fairweather c. Garrick b. Stevenson 83 (FOW: 170/10)
52.5 W Stevenson to Fairweather
Nicks that one to Garrick at second slip, who holds onto a tight catch.
52.4 . Stevenson to Fairweather
You will rarely see a ball as good as that. The bad news for Stevenson is that Fairweather lacks the skill to get an edge on it.
52.3 . Stevenson to Fairweather
That was a real effort ball which flew past the off stump through to Rautenbach before Fairweather had even considered playing a stroke.

Good win in the end. Couldn't see that happening after being skittled for 68 in the first innings. Bayliss and Browne saved the day though. Batting is bossing our league ... just look at the scores in the rest of the games. Teams getting 400 every innings without fail. Borrrrrrrrrinnnnnnggg stuff, i tell you! Least me and Mrs BB made it interesting!

In an hour or so, will look to see who is fit enough for tomorrow!

Kev

After cocking up my declaration target, I set them 450 to win. I've taken 2 early wickets, but its heading for a draw.

Booth 5-0-20-0
Grewcock* 26 (47 balls)
Gillan 14 (27 balls)

Last Wicket: Grant c. Booth b. Woodgate 55 (FOW: 128/3)
