FC Week 3

Fortunately my current game seems to be devoid of freak issues. Bowled them out for 84 and at 282 for 3 I'll declare overnight and probably take 80 overs this time to roll them over. That'll put me third in the table and a re-evaulation of some of my opps brings favourable news. Two of my close competitors have very small squads and are already suffering PFL issues. I only currently have 19 but it won't be too long before funds arrive to add another reserve bowler to the mix for easier games. Maybe top 4 won't be so tough after all.

Sublime to the ridiculous for Mrs BB, as she loses her last 7 wickets in 5.4 overs this morning (Green pitch and Sunny Weather). She leads by 276.

The players are off the field for the change of innings.

End of Over 103 (1 runs). DIBS DIPPERS: 456-10, runrate=4.43 (1st Inn: 63-10)
Lead by 276 runs. (The Cricket Nufties 243-10)
Frazer 24-3-78-5
Judd* 35 (100 balls)

Not much I can say about this:

Four Oaks Saints CC won by an innings and 112 runs.

Four Oaks Saints CC ShrimperZone CC
Top Order: wonderful remarkable
Middle Order: superb proficient
Lower Order: woeful feeble
Seam Bowling: strong quality
Spin Bowling: wonderful sensational
Fielding: competent competent

Positives? Well Mario showed his batting quality by being not out in both innings for a total of 93 runs (out of our grand total of 327) and Cooky bowled well in testing conditions to get 5-79 (compared to Suthers 1-102!!!).

Not much other than that. Fitness is shocking now so next weeks FC game will be thrown as my priority is to get back to III in OD and get as far as I can in the cup to accrue cash for a new bowler.

The Cricket Nufties v DIBS DIPPERS

Pitch: Green

End of Over 5 (5 runs, 1lb). The Cricket Nufties: 20-0, runrate=4.00 (1st Inn: 243-10)
Trail by 256 runs. (DIBS DIPPERS 63-10 & 456-10)
Mohammed 3-0-12-0
Mcphee* 12 (20 balls)
Durkin 7 (10 balls)

256 needed off 99 overs (RRR = 2.59)

Mrs BB needs early wickets from Mohammed and Eagles otherwise she's toast.

Looking good for Mrs BB

The Cricket Nufties v DIBS DIPPERS

Pitch: Green

End of Over 25 (Maiden). The Cricket Nufties: 91-5, runrate=3.64 (1st Inn: 243-10)
Trail by 185 runs. (DIBS DIPPERS 63-10 & 456-10)
Eagles 6-2-27-3
Rice* 0 (4 balls)
Prior 4 (16 balls)

Last Wicket: Howard c. Stride b. Eagles 0 (FOW: 88/5)

185 needed off 79 overs (RRR = 2.35)

Fecking stupid game - I cannot believe I couldn't bowl out a heap of sheite in 109 overs. I'm sorely tempted to write the FC season off now - which effectively means the rest of this season and next in a bot division playing meaningless games. This is just plain stupid.

How does a team with best rating of feeble bowled out for 84 in first innings survive the third day batting all day ?

Err, didn't bother to change my declaration and consequently set my opponents 120 odd, which they knocked off for the loss of 3 wickets. If I'd set a proper total I'd have probably have won.
