FC Week 14!

Got another late wicket so they lead by 180ish with 8 wickets left. Could be interesting if i expose the tail ( but i'll then probably get bowled out for 150 it that happens! )

Kev

Oppo racked up 373, I'm 283-6 in reply. Should I make 360 and then bowl him out cheaply and force the win, I will miss out on promotion by 1 wicket !

So level V for me next year, should make for a few easy games :)

I'm around this morning unexpectedly, and my quality/strong medium pacer is only selling for £3.6million with 5 mins left. No way am I letting him go for that.

Good job I did bid for him, as he'd have gone for that. About £1million too little that was. Got to set my sights lower now though as will only have just under £6million to spend for the next 6 weeks :(

Yep, I had that with a Prof / Respectable Bat, was only going for 900k so I bought him back.

Seems the market is a bit lower at the moment, an exceptional RM is going for sub-£5million currently with 25 minutes left. If I'm still here at 10.55 I may go for him.

Looking at that myself. If I was to go for him I'd need a quick bid on Mushy though and not much chance of that with 20 minutes left!

What's Mushy like?

If I went for him I'd have a RF, 2 RM and 2 spinners, which isn't an ideal situation, but one that could be rectified early next season.

I've decided to plump for him and see what happens.

He's remarkable/strong so would be a two level increase in both primary and secondary if I went for him. I see Cow Corner are bidding so I can see Drury's price shooting up!

Yep cow corner have got involved, which is trouble. I'll probably go to 5.5 and then leave it.

The winning bidder for Resha was extremely annoyed that I bought him back. I guess I would be too, though.

Now 3 Shredded Wheat are in on it. These bloody big clubs sniffing bargains!

In FC news, got 2 quick wickets this morning, game on.

EDIT: He's going for 6.1 million now. Out of my reach.

A couple of early wickets from Cooky have left us on the verge of wrapping up our double promotion.

End of Over 48 (2 runs). Potato Heads: 116-5, runrate=2.42 (1st Inn: 202-10)
Trail by 47 runs. (ShrimperZone CC 365-2 dec)
Sutherland 14-3-31-1
Brownfield* 0 (5 balls)
Lovers 26 (47 balls)

No wickets yet this morning. I think I'm going to knacker my bowlers out in search of a victory that I don't actually need.

As it's now impossible to avoid relegation, my lot have decided on some batting practice, 9 runs added in 8 overs !

You big spenders you lot. I will have over 4.5 million in the bank by Friday 5.30pm! Thats without money for coming 1st/2nd in the OD format and 2nd in the FC format!

On the cricket front, took an early wicket but they are now 80-3. I tried persuading him to set my a total but he bottled it and is taking the draw!

2. Whos your Daddy 14 10 3 1 0 54 36 234

Sadly since he moved round to another part of the office his team is being rather neglected as I'm not able to kick him up the **** to make him do it! Expect him to start off well next season then fade away when his team get knackered!

Looks like I'm going to win my last game and miss out on staying up by a couple of points.

End of Over 27 (Maiden). Adders CC: 55-6, runrate=2.04 (1st Inn: 373-10)
