FC - Match 8

* ORM *

Still Loves Emma Bunton. Roy McDonough is God!
Started early as advice needed. Title decider for me at home to 1st looking to overturn a 9 point defecit. All about turning over top order and I've gone for 5 bowlers 3 spinners on my dusty.

Weather is cloudy and humid, cloudy, sunny. Have chose. To put them in if I win the toss. Correct ?

I would say so. If the weather stays as forecast, you'll be batting in the best conditions at the end of the game. If you've got a medium pacer, make sure he gets a good bowl, as they can do damage on a Dusty pitch as well.

Cheers. I have two mediums and 3 spinners and expecting nothing less than sensational/exquisite. Still need his top order gone early. A draw is no good

ShrimperZone CC v Zanarkand Abes

1st v 2nd and we're 20 points clear so a win will pretty much secure promotion as our remaining games are against 4th and 6th. However, they are a very strong team and are set up to bat out draws (as shown by the fact they are W2 D5 this season, the two wins coming against Wimbledon who are throwing games) using their extended batting line up of 100k+ players. Last two games show this:

09/02/2010 at Zanarkand Abes
Zanarkand Abes 368-4 & 471-4
ShrimperZone CC 453-10

22/12/2009 at ShrimperZone CC
ShrimperZone CC 361-3 & 514-2
Zanarkand Abes 553-10

So a vital toss to win with the weather in Essex getting better each day.

Arsenal Cricket Club v BATTY SHRIMPERS

We're bottom of the table and take on the side in 2nd today. Fitness is generally at Energetic, although Pollock and Evelyn are both Sublime. Picked up a 31yo Wonderful / Strong RF yesterday for 1.6m, and he makes his debut today. Really need to win to have any hope of staying up. Green pitch, and a real mixed bag of weather for the 3 days (Overcast+Cold, PC+W, PC+H), so going to try and bat 1st, and have him batting on the last day.

Vital toss won, we're doing well on those lately!

We can tell you that ShrimperZone CC won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a bit on the dry side. A fair bit of help for the spinners I think on this partially cloudy and humid day.

End of Over 1 (3 runs). Zanarkand Abes: 3-0, runrate=3.00
Overs left today: 109
Digana 1-0-3-0
Smart* 3 (4 balls)
Lekhi 0 (2 balls)

Sod it. Going to be tough to win from here.

We can tell you that Arsenal Cricket Club won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking a touch on the green side. All the seam bowlers have been out there rubbing their hands on this overcast and cold day.

End of Over 8 (Maiden, 1b). Arsenal Cricket Club: 17-0, runrate=2.13
Overs left today: 102
Singh 4-2-8-0
Tandy* 1 (21 balls)
Clement 11 (27 balls)

Victoria Park CC v DIBS DIPPERS

4th placed Mrs BB takes on the side in 3rd. She's marooned in mid-table, so not a lot on this game.

We can tell you that Victoria Park CC won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a touch on the green side. All the seam bowlers have been out there rubbing their hands on this partially cloudy day.

End of Over 8 (6 runs). DIBS DIPPERS: 32-0, runrate=4.00

Not a great start considering the conditions, Barrowdale is shedding runs everywhere. Let's see what happens when the 4 spinners get their chance on the dusty.

End of Over 12 (10 runs). Zanarkand Abes: 42-0, runrate=3.50
Overs left today: 98
Barrowdale 6-0-33-0

Overs left today: 93
Sipho 8-7-1-6
Wick* 4 (24 balls)

Time to rack up 360 asap and bowl them out again later.

Its Me (2nd) vs Hamptonians (5th) but these lot are no mugs at all. Won the toss and elected to bowl (as its partially cloudy today) and as the sun was supposed to be out on Wednesday but its now changed to partially cloudy and humid so this is going to be a result track as its a dusty pitch!!

Welcome to Hamptonians CG for the match between Hamptonians and General Stars.

We can tell you that Hamptonians won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking a bit on the dry side. A fair bit of help for the spinners I think on this partially cloudy day.

Very good start and got their big £110,000 p/w player out at the top thanks to some good fielding from Deane and Browne!
