ShrimperZone Vets CC won the toss and elected to field.
Reporter's Summary ShrimperZone Vets CC Leyland CC
Top Order: strong superb
Middle Order: strong proficient
Lower Order: feeble woeful
Seam Bowling: exceptional exceptional
Spin Bowling: sensational remarkable
Fielding: woeful mediocre

Bit disappointed with my batting ratings if I'm honest. I struggled last time in VII and need to offer more than this. Two trainees should improve matters but I was strong proficient last time in VII and that wasn't good enough. Having said that I'd probably open differently next season and may well get quality openers.

5 points ahead I medium tough game but promotion is now mine to blow.

Looks like a draw.

The players are off the field for tea.

Last Wicket: Appleton c. Perry b. Hoult 4 (FOW: 16/1)

Well, having given up on the game, I was pretty pleased that he batted on past 360 and gifted me 2 extra bowling points.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mrs BB won by an innings and lots, to pretty much assure promotion.

Interesting afternoon, we hauled ourselves to 342 for a lead of 133 thanks to some late resistance from Plums. We then flew out of the blocks leaving them 2-2 and me hoping for a 2 day win. Checked on the train and there was one over left and they were 108-2 so plenty of work to do. I then get home and find that Suthers took two out in the final over so we are 21 ahead with 6 wickets to take, hopefully can finish that quickly tomorrow.

Though with a walkover on Friday and BT20 next week fitness isn't a concern!

Lost by an innings plus again! Will be 4th by end of tomorrow so going to have to actually win one of the remaining 2 games, me thinks, but i dont want to ruin my shot at getting into Level II on the OD front!

Kev

And that's the end of the match. Napster's XI won by 9 wickets.

End of Over 23 (1 runs). Napster's XI: 116-1, runrate=5.04 (1st Inn: 402-2 dec)
Lead by 1 runs. (Phil's Sloggers 361-6 dec & 156-3 dec)
Overs left today: 95
Harvey 10-0-62-0
Jefferson* 60 (56 balls)
Sagren 30 (49 balls)

Last Wicket: Perry c. Stringfellow b. Maymann 23 (FOW: 58/1)

Got two so far, one more to get and we're pretty much there. Sandy seems to be running Big Phil into the ground though, 27 of 68 overs bowled!!

End of Over 68 (4 runs). White Lodge Wizards: 176-6, runrate=2.59 (1st Inn: 209-10)
Lead by 43 runs. (ShrimperZone CC 342-10)
Overs left today: 89
Schofield 27-5-72-2
Sugden* 31 (71 balls)
Cowling 23 (27 balls)

Last Wicket: Hoyte b. Schofield 70 (FOW: 142/6)

Yep, that pair put on a few more but once one of them went the last thre scored 0 between them. We scored the 100 required for the loss of two wickets.

Muse is batting out a draw so we'll be clear top of the division. We play each other in the final game.

Lost by an innings and loads, after I set all my batters to V.Attacking to get it over and done with. Hopefully the PFL hits for Glasby, Begg and Evelyn will be negligble

We beat Dale for the second time this season. Deciding to bowl first they scored 277 batting four overs short of a full day. Set a declaration of 400 with the hope of bowling them out for less than the first innings and they made 241. We made the 119 with ten overs to spare.

Good performances from opening bowlers Sharma and Brook taking six and seven wickets respectively. Big innings from both Williams 184* and Bob Birkett 199*. Birkett scored 200 in the first game against them this season so obviously found their bowling attack to his liking.

31,000 crowd over three days and a tidy £267,497 in gate receipts. Over £4.5 million in the bank now :)
