They have a mraginal lead with 4 wickets remaining. Dropped Middleton from the bowling attack and going with 4 bowlers with Hayter and Suthers putting in a solid stint from the start to try to get the rest out asap.

Then need to hope our batsmen can hold it together today to give us something to bowl at in their 2nd innings.

Hayter takes out the stubborn one first over of the day, hopefully can keep it below 150 now.

Urgh, didn't set them to follow on. Whoops. Hoping to get skittled.

Reporter's Summary kings-of-spin ShrimperZone CC
Top Order: sensational exquisite
Middle Order: superb respectable
Lower Order: woeful worthless
Seam Bowling: miraculous exquisite
Spin Bowling: masterful elite
Fielding: competent mediocre

They will almost certainly finish second and are probably pretty gutted to have landed in a league with me, we now have four much easier games to win to confirm the title and we're going to be pretty well rested for the remainder of the campaign as it's BT20 next week and a cup exit must be just round the corner.

Well when it took me 77 overs and they posted 229, i thought to myself i best set myself to get 400 and hope to bowl them out Wed avo/Thurs morning and if i need to chase a small target, so be it. I delcared on 402-5 with everyone chipping in with runs and managed to bowl them out for 20 runs in 15 overs. Very bizarre! Guy had figures of 7.5-6-1-6 (9-33 in total) in the 2nd innings! Johnson finished the match with figures of 6-45.

Days rest before we take on Inspired Reality on Friday. They have lost their last two matches due to teams playing their best bats at 9, 10 and 11 and facing their weaker bowlers. Im not sure how he is going to react and im kind of hoping he thinks i will do the same and perhaps swop his order about?!?!

God knows what i shall be doing yet, so will have a think tomorrow!

Kev

getting spanked again by the runaway league leaders, they're even so kind to get 630 in the first innings, bowl me out for 72 and then bat again. Charming.

Mrs BB's game meandering to a very high scoring draw.
