FC Match 4

Otoole's back in

End of Over 5 (1 runs). Hammer Time: 5-1, runrate=1.00 (1st Inn: 383-7 dec)
Lead by 109 runs. (Napster's XI 279-10)
Allan 3-0-3-0
Artell* 5 (18 balls)
Otoole 0 (1 balls)

Last Wicket: Flower lbw b. van Niekerk 0 (FOW: 4/1)

Platt to Swayne
The ball loops up for Briers, but the chance of a catch is wasted as he lets it slip through his fingers. He really should wash his hands after gelling his hair before the match.

Swayne still living a charmed life!

349-2 at close. 66 behind. Swayne out for 140, quite glad after facing 259 balls!

With no positive result possible i may just bat for a while tomorrow. I bowled 137.3 overs so i'm gonna make them bowl for ages! Their manager hasn't logged in for a week so they'll just be on default orders.

366/6 in the end so max batting points but our lethargy in the afternoon means we didn't get any overs against them so we'll need the bowlers to have their A game out tomorrow if we're going to force a result. 86 run lead.

Check their past few matches - have they declared in the 2nd innings at all?

I think it'd be worth a gamble of doing this:

Declare at 360, get your points. Then let your most unimportant players bowl, rest the proper bowlers, and maybe they'll have a low declaration total. If they do, game on, if they dont, PFL preserved for the important players.

They've won 2 matches by an innings and the other they were bowled out for 135 in the 2nd innings so obviously can't tell but I may well do that, thanks.

Brilliant day for me taking 16 wickets. Bowled them out for 179. Guy 4-40 and Raven 3-15. In the second innings they are 71-6 after Johnsons 4-41! Should get them out fairly pronto tomorrow and fitness hasnt been affected as much as i thought it would be!

1 wicket away from an innings defeat against 6th place which effectively confirms my worst fears that I have no chance of surviving this division. I will give the next game my best shot vs 4th place and if I lose that write off FC to focus on OD promotion and 2020 survival

Didn't go quite to plan after yesterday morning, and the bowlers have thier work cut out on a Flat deck. Going to set them all to V. Attacking, as once I break this partnership, hopefully the rest will tumble.

Last Wicket: Gill c. Denvers b. Biyatris 57 (FOW: 113/1)

Tricky declaration for Mrs BB, as although she's way in front, she can't be expected to clean up all her oppo's decent bats again with her bowling attack.

Another breakthrough but it's only the other opener so still a lot of work to do. Only one draw in our history.....

End of Over 32 (2 runs). Purple Dinosaurs: 63-2, runrate=1.97 (1st Inn: 281-10)

V.Attacking orders worked this morning, bowled them out in 27 overs. Should knock this off with out too many problems.
